Arsenal star Kieran Tierney has revealed that Rob Holding is his best friend at the club.

The Scottish international joined from Celtic back in the summer of 2019, signing for a reported £25million.

He has since established himself as one of the key members of Mikel Arteta's squad, featuring 81 times for the Gunners, notching four goals and 12 assists in the process.

When asked on the club's TikTok channel who his closest friend was at Arsenal, Tierney said: "My best mate at Arsenal would be Rob Holding.

"He helped me a lot when I first came, so I’m grateful for that.

"And also now Jack Wilshere's training with us, I’ve been very close with him. He’s a great guy and also a great player."

Wilshere has been training with the north London club in recent times to regain fitness and has even admitted he would love to join the first-team squad if his old side were interested in his services.

Speaking to talkSPORT earlier this month, he said: "I would love it to be Arsenal. But I’m not in control of that.

"[I'm not playing for Arsenal] because the manager doesn’t want me to. I don’t think he does.

"[But] I wouldn't have went to Dubai if I was bringing training down, bringing the quality down, weren't keeping up."
