Khloe Kardashian tells fans she had ‘incredibly rare’ tumour removed from her face

Khloe Kardashian has told her fans she recently had surgery to remove a tumour from her face which doctors deemed “incredibly rare” for someone her age.

The Keeping up With the Kardashians star, 38, posted a series of images to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday to reveal she underwent the procedure after noticing a blemish – which she assumed was a “zit” – had not changed for months. She went on to explain she had the bump biopsied after examination from two dermatologists, who deemed it “incredibly rare" for someone her age. Just a few days later, she was told she would need an “immediate operation” to remove the tumour from her face.

She said she will likely have a scar and an indentation on her cheek following the removal of the tumour, and will be wearing a bandage to conceal it, which she intends to make look “fabulous.” Khloe said she chose to share her story to remind everyone to “get checked frequently.”

“At 19 years old, I had a melanoma on my back, so I am pre-composed to melanomas,” she added. “Even those who are not, we should be checking all the time.”
