Khabib, Jones, Aldo, Usman, no McGregor: 10 greatest UFC fighters of all time ranked

Who is the GOAT? In any sport, it is a hotly discussed topic.

Tapology.com have compiled their all-time list for MMA and UFC, so today we thought we’d focus on their top 10 greatest fighters of all time.

It must be stressed, their list focused on MMA as a whole, whereas we are just focusing on UFC, so that’s why Fedor Emelianenko doesn’t feature, despite being seventh in their all-time list.

So without further ado, here’s their top 10!

10. Randy Couture

Couture has competed in a record 16 title fights. He is tied for the record for the most wins in UFC heavyweight championship bouts (6) with former UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic. He had the most title reigns in the UFC with six. His last fight with Lyoto Machida marked his 24th fight in the UFC.

9. Kamaru Usman

Usman currently competes in the welterweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, where he is the current champion. He was also The Ultimate Fighter 21 tournament winner. As of September 27, 2021, he is number 1 in the UFC men’s pound-for-pound rankings.

8. Daniel Cormier

A former UFC light heavyweight and heavyweight champion, Cormier is the second fighter in UFC history to hold titles in two weight classes simultaneously and is the first to defend titles in two divisions.

7. Stipe Miocic

Miocic currently competes in the heavyweight division, where he is a former two-time champion. Many view him as the greatest UFC heavyweight fighter of all time. His longevity and consistency are legendary.

6. Khabib Nurmagomedov

“The Eagle” competed in the lightweight division, where he was the longest-reigning champion, holding the title from April 2018 to March 2021. With 29 wins and no losses in UFC, he retired with an undefeated record.
