The Kent Senior Cup first-round draw has delivered a tasty tie.

Managerless Ramsgate have been drawn at home against fierce Thanet rivals Margate, both teams now in the same division this season after Gate’s 2023/24 Isthmian Premier relegation.

Danny Kedwell’s Ashford side have been handed an away game with newly-promoted Isthmian Premier outfit Cray Valley.

An all-Isthmian Premier game sees Chatham come up against Cray Wanderers.

Last term’s Southern Counties East Premier Division champions Deal will host Sittingbourne, Herne Bay are at home against newly-promoted divisional rivals Erith Town, and ambitious Isthmian Premier team Folkestone will welcome Phoenix Sports to Cheriton Road.

Sheppey have been drawn at home to Hythe while Beckenham’s journey to Sevenoaks rounds off the list of first-round fixtures.

Champions Maidstone start their defence at fellow National League South side Welling in round two.

Gillingham travel to National League Ebbsfleet while Ady Pennock’s Dartford team will visit newly-promoted Football League club Bromley.

Dover have been drawn at home to the winner of the tie between Cray Valley and Ashford while Tonbridge welcome either Sevenoaks or Beckenham to Longmead.

All first-round fixtures have been scheduled for Tuesday, September 24.
