Kendrick Perkins Tries Accusing Shaq, Charles Barkley Of 'Not Watching Basketball' After Sleeping On NY Knicks

The TNT basketball guys, namely Shaq and Charles Barkley, aren't confident in the second-seeded New York Knicks ahead of the upcoming NBA Playoffs.

ESPN talking/mumbling head Kendrick Perkins wasn't happy about the hot takes.

Led by the Herculean Jalen Brunson, the Knicks amassed an impressive 50-32 record. 

The days of Mike Woodson's failed teams are over as Tom Thibodeau's rebuild appears on the upswing. But with his postseason woes, Thibodeau's Knicks still have a lot to prove. 

While Shaq and Barkley stated that New York would be an easy first-round exit, Perkins vehemently disagreed.

Joining ‘The Michael Kay Show’ on Monday, Perkins (whose own NBA commentary is glib) mocked the duo and accused them of not watching NBA games before giving their respective opinions. 

"It's obvious (that) they don't watch basketball," Perkins said." "I'm serious, they can't watch basketball on a consistent basis. The only time they actually probably watch the Knicks is when they're covering the Knicks on their game nights."

Perkins added, "If you're watching the New York Knicks, there's no way in hell that you can just downplay the way they've been playing the game of basketball."

Considering the ESPN pundit's spotty past in commentary, watching him critique the TNT stars was comical.

Keep in mind that this is the same guy who couldn't fathom having Nikola Jokic as his MVP over Joel
