Kelsey Parker 'devastated but grateful' as she marks 'bittersweet' fifth wedding anniversary with Tom

Kelsey Parker paid an emotional tribute to her late husband on what would have been their fifth wedding anniversary together. Tom Parker, who shot to fame with boyband The Wanted, died of brain cancer in March last year at the age of 33.

Mum-of-two Kelsey took to Instagram to explain why she was "not having a great morning". In a video on her Stories posted on Friday, she told her followers: "Today would have been mine and Tom's fifth year anniversary together which obviously devastates me that we only made it to three years married."

Recalling her and Tom's wedding day on July 14, 2018, Kelsey said: "I think of all the good times that me and Tom had, that we did get married and that weekend was honestly the best weekend of my life and his life."

The 33-year-old mum added: “We had so much love and we had so much happiness together and even if that was just for three years then I’m so grateful for those three years that we had.”

Kelsey also posted a throwback video from their wedding day showing the couple sharing a kiss as their guests threw pink confetti over their heads. She captioned it: "I hate we only had 3 years married. But I’d take 3 years over none. Miss you, love you."

Tom shared the news of his brain cancer glioblastoma diagnosis with fans in October 2020 when Kelsey was pregnant with their second child. He died on March 30, 2022, after which Kelsey and their two kids, son Bodhi and daughter Aurelia, featured in a six-part ITV documentary about her grief called 'Life After Tom'.

Kelsey also paid tribute to her daughter, who she said Tom would be "so proud of". She said marking the wedding anniversary on Friday was
