Kansas City Chiefs fend off Miami Dolphins fightback to win in Frankfurt

Defending Super Bowl champions the Kansas City Chiefs bounced back from their shock defeat to the Denver Broncos with victory over the Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt.

Patrick Mahomes failed to throw a touchdown pass for the first time in almost two years in the 24-9 loss in Denver, but found Rashee Rice in the end zone on the opening drive of the game to give the Chiefs an early lead.

Mahomes also threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to Jerick McKinnon before safety Bryan Cook returned a fumble 59 yards for another score after Tyreek Hill had been stripped of the ball in the tackle.
