Kano Pillars, Safety Babes lead Prudent Energy Handball League phase one

Kano Pillars, Rima Strikers, D: Defenders, Tojemarine Academy, Rima Queens and Safety Babes won their respective matches yesterday at the Prudent Energy Handball Premier League held at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

Defending champions, Safety Babes, look set to take the lead into the second phase as they remain on top in the women’s category.

After beating Plateau Peacocks 32 to 28. Imo Grasshoppers drew 21 to 21 with Bendel Dynamos, Rima Queens beat Seasiders Babes 32 to 18, former champions, Adorable Angels suffered a heavy loss in the hands of Defenders Babes 40 to 33, while Kada Queens walked over Benue Queens.
