Jurgen Klopp is not expecting World Cup heartache to hold Mohamed Salah back as Liverpool gear up for a potentially season-defining April.
Salah missed a penalty for Egypt in a penalty shootout against Senegal earlier this week as Sadio Mane's side secured their place at this year's World Cup in Qatar at the expense of his Reds' team-mate.
It marks the second time this year Egypt have lost out in a vital shootout to the Senegalese following the Africa Cup of Nations final in Cameroon back in February. Despite Salah's tough luck at international level, the winger has again been in superb form for Klopp's side and is once more top of the club's scoring charts with 28 so far across all competitions.
Klopp does not believe the disappointment with Egypt will linger with Salah for too long as Liverpool prepare for a massive April that starts with a visit from Watford on Saturday lunchtime.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain reportedly turned down the chance to join Newcastle United in January.
