Jurgen Klopp issues 'Did you really care?' statement over current Chelsea situation
The future of Chelsea Football Club remains uncertain this weekend after the club’s owner, Roman Abramovich, was sanctioned by the British government.
That move meant that Abramovich’s plans to sell the Premier League club had to be suspended while the day to day operations at Stamford Bridge were boiled down to a mere skeleton brief.
The club is not allowed to sell tickets, their bank accounts have been suspended, the merchandise shop is closed and reports have emerged that the players have been in contact with lawyers over their employment rights.
These truly are concerning times for reigning European champions.

Various Premier League managers have shared their views but perhaps none of those have resonated more than what Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp had to say.

“Do supporters really care? That’s the question. I think it’s pretty obvious where the money is coming from, everybody knew it but we accepted it. That’s our fault, that’s societies fault.
