Mohamed Salah’s belief in himself is deservedly through the roof.
Speaking after he had struck the woodwork twice in Liverpool’s 1-0 loss to Inter Milan, the Egyptian remained optimistic about his short-term future in front of goal.
"I hit the post a couple of times," he said. "Maybe next game I’ll score three.”
Most players wouldn’t assume a hat trick is lying await just around the corner, but as Salah has proved time and again in the red of Liverpool, he’s far from your average player.
