Jude Bellingham's brilliant reaction to equalling record held by Man City star Erling Haaland

Wednesday night saw Erling Haaland take his scoring tally for Manchester City to a whopping 19 goals in just 12 matches for the club.

Off the back of a memorable hat-trick in the thumping win over rivals Manchester United, the Norwegian notched twice in his 45-minute cameo as City breezed to a 5-0 win over Copenhagen in the Champions League.

It continued his purple patch in front of goal since swapping Borussia Dortmund for the Etihad. In his absence in Germany, his old teammate Jude Bellingham has increased his importance for the Black and Yellows. And Wednesday was a special night for the England man too, as he also scored in the Champions League. He found the net in a dominant 4-1 win away at Sevilla.

In doing so, Bellingham tied a competition record for scoring on the first three matchdays as a teenager. Unsurprisingly his erstwhile colleague Haaland is the other member of that exclusive list. Bellingham, 19, was told post-match in an interview about the stat and after being asked to guess the identity of the other player it didn't take him long to work it out.

Once the penny dropped, he reacted by saying: "Of course! I can't get anything over that geezer at the minute, I swear to God! It sums him up."

Haaland will be looking to continue his outstanding scoring run when City return to Premier League action on Saturday at home to Southampton.
