Joshua Zirkzee gets major Man United transfer update as new Ruud van Nistelrooy option emerges
It’s back to Premier League action for Manchester United this weekend as Ruben Amorim takes charge of his first league game at Old Trafford.
The new United head coach managed his first game at the Stadium on Thursday night. Goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund (x2) saw the team come out as 3-2 winners over Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League.
United are back in action on Sunday when they take on Everton at Old Trafford (1.30pm kick-off). Going into the match, United sit in 12th place in the Premier League table, having picked up 16 points from their opening 12 games.

Ruud van Nistelrooy has been confirmed as the new manager of Leicester City, following his exit from Manchester United just under three weeks ago. The former striker joined United in the summer as Erik ten hag’s assistant and took interim charge for four games following the sacking of Ten Hag.
He has now signed a two-and-a-half year deal with the Foxes and will hope to lead the club to Premier League safety. It means a reunion with United is on the cards, with the meeting between the two clubs set for March 15 at the King Power Stadium.
