Josh Taylor vs Jack Catterall: Rivals separated after grabbing each other by the throat
Josh Taylor and Jack Catterall had to be separated by security after they grabbed each other by the throat in a heated exchange ahead of their super-lightweight clash.
The Tartan Tornado will defend his undisputed championship against his WBO mandatory challenger at the OVO Arena in Glasgow on February 26.
Taylor, 30, hit the scales at 140lbs, and then made a beeline straight for the waiting Catterall.
However, the Englishman refused to back down, before grabbing Taylor by the throat.
Unsurprisingly, the Scotsman reacted rather angrily, as he violently shoved Catterall across the stage.
A brief scuffle then ensued before security was forced to intervene to stop the situation from escalating further.
