Jorge Martin wins second Sprint race event in German Grand Prix at Sachsenring, Marc Marquez struggles

Jorge Martin won the Sprint race in the German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring on Saturday afternoon. Francesco Bagnaia started on pole, and he and Martin battled early for the lead, but the pair were distracted, allowing Jack Miller to steal in for the lead. Ad Martin then effortlessly slipped by both Bagnaia and Miller on a straight, and with nine laps to go, opened up a second’s lead.

Reigning world champion Bagnaia would take second spot, with Miller in third. There were problems for two experienced riders, as Maverick Vinales found himself in the gravel at T1 with four laps remaining, ruling him out of contention.
