John Cena: Riddle hilariously thanks former WWE Champion after viral Raw spot

Riddle has hilariously thanked John Cena after a hilarious spot from WWE Raw featuring the former NXT star went viral.

On this week’s episode of WWE Raw, a segment played out featuring all of the men in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match that’s due to take place tomorrow night.

While Brock Lesnar was the star of the show, as has been the case for the last few weeks, it was a particular moment from Riddle that really caught fans attention.

As Lesnar was making his way down to the ring, the cameras caught Riddle hilariously jumping out of the ring so that he wouldn’t have to come face-to-face with ‘The Beast’.

Taking to Instagram, Riddle has comically thanked John Cena for catching him on the outside of the ring, given Cena’s ‘you can’t see me’ shtick.

Riddle has been on fire on WWE Raw lately in segments with Randy Orton and Alpha Academy, showing off just how charismatic he can be.

The former MMA star is set for a WWE Championship match at the Elimination Chamber in Saudi Arabia tomorrow night, a sign of how WWE views him.

Alongside Seth Rollins, Austin Theory, AJ Styles and the aforementioned Brock Lesnar, Riddle will be trying to wrestle the WWE title from Bobby Lashley inside the Elimination Chamber.

While Riddle may have run away from Lesnar during the segment on WWE Raw, fans cannot wait to see the two former UFC stars share the ring tomorrow night.

Riddle has been openly campaigning for a feud with Lesnar over the last few years, which even lead to a reported backstage argument between the two in January 2020.
