Joe Rogan Officially No Longer Part Of UFC 271 Amid Spotify Controversy, Replaced By UFC Legend
Rogan was expected to join John Anik and Daniel Cormier for Saturday's event in Houston, Texas.
Bisping previously took Rogan's place for UFC 251 which emanated from Abu Dhabi.
Rogan is expected to return to the booth for UFC 272 next month.
The 54-year-old was heavily criticised last month for 'spreading false information' about COVID-19 and letting controversial guests voice their opinion on his Joe Rogan Experience podcast.
70 episodes of the Joe Rogan Experience aired between 2009 and 2018 have been removed from Spotify in response and Rogan issued a public apology.
Since then he's argued there is currently a 'political hit-job' out on him.
"That video had always been out there. It’s like, this is a political hit job," Rogan told comedian Akaash Singh on Thursday's edition on his podcast.
"And so they’re taking all this stuff I’ve ever said that’s wrong and smushing it all together."
"It’s good because it makes me address some (expletive) that I really wish wasn’t out there.
"You just have to stay offline… Life goes on, as normal."
'The Last Stylebender' said Rogan is one of the coolest and 'most humble motherf**kers' he's met in the fight game.
