Joe Rodon believes Spurs team-mate Ben Davies will become a manager and that he's the 50-50 king

Joe Rodon believes his Tottenham Hotspur team-mate Ben Davies will become a manager after he retires from playing and his fellow Welshman admitted it might just be the case.

The duo were taking part in a Q&A game for Spurs' website, choosing which of them was the most likely to come out on top in each category. When it came to which of them would go on to become a manager, Rodon had no hesitation.

"Oh my god he's going to be a manager. He will be a manager one day I promise you. (Turns to Davies) Genuinely you will be a manager, I promise," he said. "Yes maybe," responded the 28-year-old. "We'll see. Will you be part of my staff?" Rodon joked in reply: "I'll be your head of recruitment."

When it came to pace, Rodon stated that he believed he is the quicker man over longer distances.

"I think the first five yards you've got me, but over long distance," he said, with Davies disagreeing, claiming: "You're way quicker, 100 per cent."

However, there was no debate when it came to who was the strongest in 50-50 challenges on the football pitch.

"I'm not shirking it but I've seen this guy go into 50-50s and he comes out with everything, shin pads, boots, everything," admitted Rodon.

"A prime example is Wales vs Denmark in the European Championships, him and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg going in for a 50-50, it's one of the best things I've ever seen. Ben won."

Rodon is set to play for Wales in their friendly against the Czech Republic on Tuesday evening. However, Davies has returned to Hotspur Way this week after the victory against Austria.
