Joe Locke addresses rumours Kit Connor will play his Agatha All Along love interest

Joe Locke has just addressed the rumours swirling around his Heartstopper co-star Kit Connor joining him as a love interest in new MCU series, Agatha All Along.

The superhero series is a spin-off sequel to Marvel’s highly-rated WandaVision, with Kathryn Hahn returning as the titular witch Agatha Harkness and Locke joining as an enigmatic character called Teen.

Speculation sparked with fans that Teen’s real identity could be Marvel Character Wiccan (known as Billy Kaplan), which led to buzz around Connor potentially playing Hulkling, Wiccan’s love interest in the comics.

The character’s identity remains a mystery after the first two episodes released on Disney+ (September 19). Many fans responded to Locke’s Marvel debut claiming the series has clues hinting that Teen is Wiccan. Others have argued it would be too obvious for Locke to be Wiccan.

In an interview with Metro.co.uk, ahead of the series premiere, Locke revealed that fans will be excited to learn Teen’s true identity but denied theories of Connor's potential cameo.

He said: ‘I’d love it if Kit was in the MCU. I love working with him, but I’m pretty sure that’s just a baseless rumour.’
