Jean-Claude Blanc could solve big Manchester United problem in January
Heading into the January transfer window, Manchester United know they must solve one problem - Jadon Sancho.
Sancho's exile from United has been ongoing since September after a bitter falling out with Erik ten Hag due to the boss' comments on the winger's form in training. The 23-year-old took exception to this and sent a statement on social media branding himself a 'scapegoat'.
Since then, the forward has been banished from the first team picture and his future in Manchester seems to be in doubt. At the same time, there has been change in the boardroom with more set to to come.

Richard Arnold has departed his role as CEO of the club with INEOS' Jean-Claude Blanc deemed the favourite to replace him. The Frenchman has been branded the 'Lionel Messi of sports business' and has held high positions at both Juventus and PSG.
Coincidentally, one of the club's most prominently linked with a move for Sancho is Juve. The Serie A giants reportedly want Sancho on a loan deal while unsurprisingly United are keen to cut ties completely and receive a fee for him.
To break this deadlock, United could do with an intermediary who can negotiate with both clubs to find a solution. Whatever your thoughts on Sancho's behaviour, there must be an agreement that allowing him to stew on his own is not a feasible long-term plan.
United need to get him off the books and Sancho needs to be playing again. With Blanc's help and his contacts at Juve, it seems like he could be the one to solve the club's most pressing issue.
From there, work can be done to rebuild this squad with a focus on long-term, bargain deals
