Jason Kelce had an interesting reaction to Philadelphia Eagles' 2nd round pick

Philadelphia Eagles centre Travis Kelce had a rather impressive reaction to news that came out of his team’s draft over the weekend.

This past weekend saw the NFL Draft take place in Las Vegas, an event that is all about the future as teams look to pick up players that can help guide them to a Super Bowl victory further down the line.

The Eagles had an incredibly busy time over the weekend, as not only did they manage to bring in 5 extra players to add to their squad through the draft, but they were also involved in a number of trades.

Not only did they maneuver themselves around the draft order, for instance jumping up in the first round to pick up defensive tackle Jordan Davis out of Georgia, but they also traded with the Tennessee Titans to pick up A.J Brown to add to their wide receiver core. 

However, it was their second-round pick that has caused something of an interesting story on social media surrounding veteran centre Jason Kelce, who has been on the Eagles roster since they picked him in 2011.

Kelce has been a reliable member of the offensive line in Philadelphia since that day, including their Super Bowl run in the 2017 season, after which he delivered one of the more impassioned speeches that a champion will ever give during their parade:

The Eagles decided to take Cam Jurgens from Nebraska, who also plays Kelce’s position of centre, which hints at the idea that they have already selected his replacement.

Kelce was actually in a position to comment on the move instantly as he was talking on a draft show with Bleacher Report whilst the pick was taking place.
