Jamie Lomas teases 'great' Hollyoaks exit as Blue's identity finally set to be revealed

The identity of the character known as Blue in Hollyoaks is set to be unveiled after weeks of fan speculation. The unknown character has been the focus of attention in the village following a shooting incident where bullets coated in blue were left at the scene, sparking intrigue among Chester's residents and fans of the Channel 4 soap.

Detective Zoe Anderson, played by Garcia Brown, has confirmed that Blue is a feared gangster who has returned after seven years with a vendetta against Warren Fox, portrayed by Jamie Lomas. Blue is determined to ruin Warren's life and will stop at nothing to achieve his sinister plan.

Warren's mother, Norma Crow, played by Glynis Barber, also believed Freddie was the elusive character.

However, after weeks of conjecture from both characters and viewers, the mystery surrounding Blue's identity will be resolved later this week (or next week for E4 viewers), as the character's true identity is finally revealed to audiences, reports the Mirror.

Jamie Lomas has hinted that his character Warrens departure from Hollyoaks will be nothing short of explosive. The actor, who made his debut on the show in 2006, has decided to take a step back from the Channel 4 drama to dedicate more time to his expanding family.

Discussing his exit, the 49 year old actor expressed: "I feel ready, I work so hard there and you do need that break from time to time. I'll just be having a baby so it will be nice to spend some
