Jake Paul vs Hasim Rahman Jr: YouTuber warned he's going to get ‘seriously hurt’

Hasim Rahman Jr is going to ‘seriously hurt’ Jake Paul in their boxing match next month.

The pair will fight it out at Madison Square Garden in New York on August 6.

Boxing novice Paul goes into the battle of the two former sparring partners as a huge favourite despite his obvious lack of experience.

The YouTuber turned boxer recently caused a bit of a stir after he joked he was in hospital from ‘carrying the promotion’ of his upcoming fight with Rahman Jr.

And Rahman Jr – the son of former heavyweight champ Rahman Sr – is planning to inflict a whole world of pain on the divisive Paul as a result.

Rahman Jr, 31, told FightHype.com: “He’s going to get seriously hurt, he’s going to get seriously hurt in this fight.

“I’m going to hurt this man and all the stuff he’s been saying is just fuel to the fire.

“He picked the wrong person and like I said, I’m going to punish him on August 6.

“He’s a fraud, he don’t even know what he’s talking about, he don’t even know what he’s saying.

“I don’t know if he got people to tell him what to say but he looks stupid.

“How are you going to say you carrying the promotion but you not even giving me anything in return? What, I’m supposed to help you and do skits with you? I’m not into that.

“I’m not into none of that. I’m here to do my job, and my job is to separate him from his consciousness. So that’s what it’s going to be on August 6.”

Rahman then turned the direction of his ire to fellow boxers Rolly Romero and Chris Eubank Jr.

He added: “Anybody that’s not with me, they’re against me. So they can get it too.
