Jake Paul makes Man City admission after Liverpool FC prediction proved wrong

Jake Paul rates Manchester City are among the two best teams in the Premier League following their draw with Liverpool on Sunday.

Despite going in front twice through Kevin De Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus, Pep Guardiola's side couldn't extend their gap at the top of the table but still remain in pole position going into the final seven games of the season. Prior to the showdown between the two English giants, the YouTube star and professional boxer offered his opinion on proceedings.

Paul predicted that Liverpool would beat City and backed Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah to prove the difference. The Egyptian assisted Sadio Mane's equaliser but the two teams could not be separated in one of the most enthralling games of the season.

Despite his pre-match prediction being proved wrong, the YouTuber-turned-boxer insisted he was still a winner. He tweeted: "Well I didn’t win, but I didn’t lose. #MCILIV ( Man City and Liverpool) - two best teams in EPL (English Premier League)."

A thrilling game saw Diogo Jota and Mane both pull Liverpool level before City spurned chances to win the game. With a point still separating both sides in the race for the title, Liverpool will need to rely on results swinging in their favour if they are to lift the coveted top-flight trophy in May.
