Jack Wilshere makes Cristiano Ronaldo comparison in Harry Kane prediction

Jack Wilshere has compared Tottenham and England captain Harry Kane to Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo.

Kane was wanted by Manchester City in the summer but after an on again, off again transfer merry-go-round, the forward decided to remain in North London.

Appearing on talkSPORT, the ex-Arsenal midfielder said that he believed Kane would have the same longevity as Ronaldo.

"(Antonio) Conte made it clear that they were going to have to invest," he explained.

"When he went there he wanted to invest, he probably didn't invest as much as he wanted in January but over the next few years they are going to have to invest but it is the same with everyone.

"Players are getting older but the thing with Kane is he looks like one of those players who can go on until the age of Ronaldo, 36, looks after himself.
