Jack Grealish praises Tyrick Mitchell for 'feeding' him in game as Marc Guehi impresses on debut

Crystal Palace's Marc Guehi and Tyrick Mitchell both made their England debuts on Saturday, as Gareth Southgate's men ran out 2-1 winners over Switzerland in an international friendly.

The former was handed his first start for the national team and produced an impressive performance, delivering excellent forward passes to quicken the transition from defence to attack along with defending all situations with authority.

Meanwhile, Mitchell replaced left wing-back Luke Shaw in the 61st minute and showed no signs of nervousness in his first England appearance.

After the game, teammate Jack Grealish was seen congratulating the two on making their debuts for the national team, with the Manchester City star delighted that Mitchell was 'feeding' him all game.

Both stars of the Eagles also shared their delight afterwards, with Guehi describing it as a 'crazy feeling' to represent England at Wembley stadium.

"Crazy feeling. Crazy. Can't really put it into words, to be honest. Just fantastic to be out there at Wembley in front of a full stadium and to make your debut is a great feeling," he said.

Similarly, it's fair to say that Mitchell was delighted with being given the opportunity to represent his country and stated that he enjoyed sharing the moment with his club teammate.

"It's a joy. Marc deserves it, and it was just great to be out there with him in a packed stadium. It's a real moment," Mitchell said after full time.

All eyes are now on Tuesday as England prepare to take on the Ivory Coast in another international friendly at Wembley stadium before Premier League action resumes on the weekend.
