Manchester City star Jack Grealish has given his verdict on Louis Dunford's new Arsenal anthem 'The Angel' after it was trialled for the first time at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The song, which went viral on Twitter a little over a fortnight ago, has become a bona fide anthem for the club with it celebrating the history of Islington and the area surrounding the ground.

Arsenal fans belted out the chorus before kick-off against Leeds United and Mikel Arteta said after the game that it gave the players an extra boost in the first-half: "Wow. It was really emotional, you know? I think there's a link with the way the team started because they were making comments in the dressing room, hearing the song with the spirit and the emotion that they did, it was unique. I have never experienced that here, it was the first time and I really enjoyed it and I hope that the fans enjoyed it too."

The Spaniard may have had a point too, as the Gunners raced to a 2-0 lead inside 10 minutes thanks to a brace from Eddie Nketiah. A nervy second-half meant that they held onto a 2-1 win in the end, but the victory leaves them in a great position to qualify for next season's Champions
