Jack Grealish Gave The Most Expressive Post-Match Interview After Starring In Manchester City's 2-0 Win, Fans Loved It

City's record signing was back in the side after a recent shin injury and marked his return with a glorious goal to wrap up the victory in the second half.

Phil Foden picked up the ball on the halfway line and found Grealish's run with the most outrageous pass that took out the entire Posh defence.

Grealish's perfect touch to bring the ball down with his left foot was worth the £100 million fee City paid Aston Villa for his services and then the England star rolled in his fourth goal in sky blue.

Afterwards, Grealish was whisked in for post-match media duties with ITV's Gabriel Clarke and his answer about the combination between he and Foden was so refreshing.

"It was obviously unbelievable. You know what's funny, before the game, we're on the coach on the way here and I sit next to Phil.

"I was scrolling through Twitter and a video of Messi’s passing came up - me and Phil were just watching it… as soon as I scored, Phil came up to me and whilst we were celebrating, he said ‘just like what we were watching before the game!’

"Just like Messi, weren't it?"

Grealish also talked about how the squad have been supporting Ukrainian Oleksandr Zinchenko, captain for the night, in these tough times - while also discussing his desire to get more goals and assists in his debut campaign.

The whole interview is a really enjoyable watch, with Grealish in the same breath as the likes of Declan Rice, James Maddison and Conor Coady in terms of players who are one hundred per cent authentic and don't come across as media-trained when they talk.
