Jack Catterall speaks out after Josh Taylor controversy

Jack Catterall has spoken out after a controversial result in his world title defeat against Josh Taylor in Glasgow on Saturday night.

The Chorley born fighter was beaten by a split decision with with Catterall having put in a brilliant performance.

Taylor is pound-for-pound one of the best fighters in the world, but Catterall was able to land more blows in all but one round of their fight at the OVO Arena in Glasgow.

Catterall's trainer Jamie Moore was clearly upset with the decision, with one judge's card reading 114-111 in favour of Catterall, and said to Sky Sports that the decision made him want to 'walk away' from the sport.

Despite this, Taylor insists that he felt he won the fight as he looks forward to stepping up a weight class for a fight against Crawford, who has beaten Kell Brook and Amir Khan in recent years.

"I just felt a little tight in the first half of the fight," he
