Jack Butland breaks silence as former Man United ace shares health update after internal bleed

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Jack Butland says he is 'focused on making a full recovery' after he was rushed to hospital with an internal bleed on New Year's Eve.

The 31-year-old ex-England international, now at Rangers, was set to feature against Celtic in the Old Firm derby on Thursday, but he has been ruled out. Butland spent the night in the hospital, but was discharged on Wednesday morning.

"Needless to say it's come at an awful time and I was fully focused on helped us as a club. The most important thing now is supporting the lads and focusing on getting fit as soon as possible. Let's stick together and push on @rangersfc," alongside a fist pumping emoji and a Great Britian flag.
