ITV This Morning fans say 'what the' as Josie Gibson's chat with Paul Rudd leaves them with the same observation

This Morning fans were left asking 'what the...' as they watched Josie Gibson chat with Hollywood actor Paul Rudd. The presenter was back fronting the ITV daytime show for the last time this week on Thursday (February 16) alongside Dermot O'Leary.

But following her earlier appearance at the helm of the show on Wednesday, Josie left Dermot and headed off to speak to Paul about his latest Marvel blockbuster, Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania. Before showing Josie deep in conversation the 53-year-old Anchorman star, Josie was seen with Dermot in the This Morning studio where she used her very own Ant utility belt to shrink herself and make her way across London to meet up with Paul for the chat in a hotel.

Those tuning in to the show watched as a mini Josie made her way out of the ITV building and to the location of her interview before having to return to normal size in order to carry on. But This Morning viewers wondered what they were watching.

@Lil_MissLioness said: "WTF is this segment now??? #ThisMorning." @ScottMoffett01 tweeted: "What the f**k have I just turned on? #ThisMorning." @TJScaverton complained: "Please don’t pretend act it’s one thing I can’t stand #ThisMorning."

But @EnfieldGarry commented: "A mini Josie, haha love it. #ThisMorning." @DavidMackayy shared: "God, give Josie a Bafta for this stellar performance #ThisMorning." @Stepharrnee added: "Lucky old Josie. Love Paul Rudd #ThisMorning."

Others were more distracted by Paul, who was given a classic brew with biscuits to dunk
