ITV The Masked Singers viewers who were 'adamant' that a woman was behind Teeth now left baffled

The Masked Singer viewers who were convinced about the celebrity identify behind Teeth have been left baffled after a 'confusing' performance.

The mega popular ITV show, which returned at the start of January, has already reached the half way point.

Last week Carol Decker was the fifth celebrity to be revealed after her Tattoo was eliminated from the contest. Crab, however it was Carol's time to leave the competition.

Macy Grey, was previously revealed as Toad in the Hole while Prue Leith and Kate Garraway were also unmasked after being kicked off the show.

Social media users have taken to X, formerly Twitter, to postulate who is behind Teeth. Many were convinced that a woman is behind the character but are some are now not so sure.

One user, @Shireen_Tajfar, said: "I was so sure Teeth was Dawn French, now I’m so confused and thinking Alan Carr!" Another wrote: "But .. but teeth was a woman… wasn’t it !? I’m so confused."

A third users, @TheRealZoeMBE, penned: "Why does teeth sound like a man this week? now I have no idea who it could be."

The speculation keeps rolling in, with user @ShirleighShirlz writing: "Me because Teeth, who I have been CERTAIN is Alex Scott for weeks, suddenly sounds like a man."

The Masked Singer will return next Saturday at 7pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
