ITV Love Island's Luca Bish and Gemma Owen finally official after he asks her to be his girlfriend in the most romantic way

After falling for each other in front of the TV cameras on Love Island, Luca Bish and Gemma Owen have finally made their relationship official. After much talk about when it might happen, smitten Luca asked Gemma to be his girlfriend in a very romantic setting.

Fans were crying as they watched a video clip shared by Luca of the sweet moment. The 23-year-old fishmonger asked the all-important question in a sunny poolside setting festooned with candles, red roses and rose petals.

Red balloons floating in the swimming pool spelled out the words 'be my girlfriend.' A beaming Luca presented his love with a red gift bag and she looked overwhelmed as she unwrapped a Cartier nail bracelet.

Despite going through a turbulent time in Mallorca, when they rowed over a clip of Gemma sharing banter with fellow Islander Billy Brown, they came runners-up.
