ITV Love Island fans spot Luca's celebrity lookalike and it's not good news for Gemma

Love Island fans have only just realised who Luca Bish reminds them of - and it may be a bit awkward for Gemma Owen. The fishmonger started the ITV2 dating show coupled up with Paige Thorne.

Despite saying he was attracted to her, the 23-year-old also had his sights set on 19-year-old Gemma who had a partner swap in the first 24 hours of the eighth series beginning when the first bombshell Davide Sanclimenti chose to couple up with her. But with their initial attraction quickly fizzling out, Gemma decided she wanted to explore things with Luca.

But just as they started to get to know each other, after coupling up during Friday's show (June 10), Gemma's ex Jacques O'Neill made a shock arrival in the Mallorcan villa. And things got awkward during Tuesday night's show (June 14) when Gemma, who is the daughter of football star Michael Owen, suffered a slip on the tongue as she accidentally called her current match Luca by her ex Jacques’ name.

Jacques, who chose to be paired with Paige, was sitting next to Gemma and Luca at the time of the awkward moment. After Luca heard the slip-up and walked off into the garden, Gemma asked the other Islanders: “That was bad wasn’t it?” Having just coupled up with Jacques, Paige replied: “That was bad, I am not gonna lie, he was stood there, you had your guy rubbing your shoulders, he’s stood there and you’re like… ‘Oh Jacques’.”
