ITV Emmerdale viewers make vow as they're left furious over Meena storyline return

Emmerdale fans have made a vow to 'never watch the soap again' as they were greeted by the return of Meena Jutla. During Monday night's trip to the Dales, the serial killer was back on-screen as she remains stuck behind bars waiting for her murder trial.

It has been a few weeks since Meena was last seen in the ITV soap which came during her plea hearing in which she caused more heartache for her victims and their families. While her raft of her offences were read out, Meena only pleaded guilty to her lesser charges while avoiding taking blame for the murders of Leanna Cavanagh, Andrea Tate, Ben Tucker.

But with the murder trial now getting closer, Emmerdale viewers saw Meena catching up with her barrister - who just so happens to be a familiar face with a famous sister and niece.

And the evil nurse was quick to celebrate as she was told that Leanna's ring, which she stole from her lifeless body after pushing her to her death, could not be used as evidence along with other trinkets she kept in an old First Aid box that was discovered by Leanna's dad Liam and his wife Leyla in the allotment.

She was then quickly plotting her next move with Milligan, with her solicitor trying to find something she can use against Manpreet to help save Meena's skin.

The smirking character then revealed that she had information she could share about Manpreet that'll make people's 'blood run cold' and Milligan was soon confirming to her client that she'll write bad character evidence for Manpreet, just as she told her neighbours that she would stand up in court as the only person Meena confessed her crimes to.
