ITV Emmerdale star lands completely new role months after soap exit
Emmerdale star Jurell Carter is starring in a new role months after his character Nate Robinson mysteriously exited from the Dales. Fans of the ITV soap had many theories regarding Nate's departure as he left the village for a new job in Shetland.
Prior to him leaving, Nate was subjected to Cain Dingle's fury as he believed Nate was making a pass at Moira. It was Caleb Miligan who believed he saw the pair sharing a kiss, when the reality was that Moira was suffering from a seizure and fell into step-son Nate who also mistakenly believed she had attempted to kiss him.
With Nate's former-wife Tracy learning of the 'betrayal', she was quick to cut him out of her life for good. Thus, the star waved goodbye to the Dales without so much as a teary goodbye from his neighbours.

Jurell has previously spoken about his exit: "It's been massive for me. My character Nate and myself share a mindset of wanting to go on to a next chapter but always being emotional and sad about leaving everything behind."
The actor added that although he's excited for his future, he's sad to be leaving behind "such a beautiful show and beautiful people." Unfortunately for fans, it doesn't look as though Jurell will be making a return to Emmerdale in the near future as he's just confirmed a new role that might be a surprise to some viewers of the soap.
The actor will be taking on the role of Loggo in James Graham's play Boys from the Blackstuff, that starts touring next year. The adaptation of Alan Bleasdale’s BAFTA award-winning television drama, is set in 1980s Liverpool and follows five men who are trying to find work when there is none to
