ITV Corrie star who plays Stephen's wife has been in the soap before as spouse of another con man

Businessman Stephen Reid has been hiding his dark side since arriving in Weatherfield to come to his mother Audrey Roberts' rescue. Last week Corrie fans saw the hotshot lose his cool as he flew into a rage when he found out he wasn't getting his hands on Audrey's cash.

She announced that, rather than going through with a trust fund, she would be making a normal will for everyone apart from Stephen who had been kind enough to say he didn't need any of her money. Shortly after he was seen taking his anger out on some wheelie bins.

Broke and desperate he was then seen shopping for a new suit at a charity shop. Later he wormed his way into Jenny Connor's affections after discovering she was the landlady of the Rovers Return pub.

She told him she wants the £200,000 euros back that he stole from her company or she’s going to the police. Fans might recognise that Gabrielle is played by someone who appeared in the ITV soap in 2019.
