ITV Coronation Street's on-screen couple Charlotte Jordan and Rob Mallard look gorgeous together in glam snaps

Coronation Street stars Rob Mallard and Charlotte Jordan were dubbed the 'best couple' as they posed for selfies at the British Soap Awards. The on-screen couple glammed up over the weekend to represent the ITV soap at the glitzy awards bash alongside their co-stars.

They were worlds away from the cobbles as they headed to the Hackney Empire to join actors from Emmerdale, EastEnders, Hollyoaks and Doctors for the first British Soap Awards, hosted by Phillip Schofield, in two years due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Charlotte, who plays Weatherfield's Daisy Midgely, looked stunning in a plunging navy blue gown, with the front of the dress being kept together by a black band. The fancy gown featured a ruffled layered bottom and v-shaped back.

The 28-year-old dazzled as she smiled for the waiting cameras as her mousey blonde, blow-dried locks flowed down her back with her fringe pined with sparkly grips. She added minimal jewellery and paired the look with a pair of strappy black heels.

Meanwhile, her on-screen boyfriend Rob, who plays Daniel Osbourne in Corrie, matched in terms of colour as he looked dapper in a three-piece navy suit which he paired with a burgundy, paisley patterned tie.

And the pair made sure to get a few snap together. Taking to Instagram, Rob 30, shared a selfie of him smiling for the camera as former Netflix star Charlotte puckered up to give him a kiss on the cheek.

"Had too much of a good time at @thebritishsoapawards.. only just recovered. Congratulations to all the winners!" he captioned the post to his thousands of followers. And fans were quick to comment about the pair.
