‘It’s unarguable!’ – Jordan claims Klopp beats ‘chequebook boss’ Guardiola
Ex-Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan has suggested that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is better than “chequebook boss” Pep Guardiola.
Liverpool and Manchester City have been the standout teams in the Premier League over the past few years.
The last time someone else won the league was in 2016/17 as Chelsea finished seven points clear to lift the title.

Guardiola has lifted every domestic trophy with City, but he is yet to win the Champions League. They were beaten 1-0 by Chelsea in last season’s final.
Klopp meanwhile is yet to win a domestic cup in England but he has guided Liverpool to the Premier League and Champions League.
They can win the Carabao Cup for the first time later this month. They face Chelsea in the final at Wembley.
Jordan has pointed out that Guardiola has been helped by City’s transfer funds:
“If you take the time they’ve been together, the fact of the matter is that every single Premier League point that’s been won by Guardiola has cost Manchester City £667,000,” Jordan told talkSPORT.
“Every point that’s been won by Liverpool under Klopp has cost Liverpool £243,000. So Guardiola has spent almost three times the amount of money that Klopp has spent.
“Klopp took over a
