Football fans in Aba are set to witness the first battle between their teams, Enyimba and Abia Warriors, in the post Felix Anyansi-Agwu and Emeka Inyama eras respectively.

Anyansi held sway as chairman of Enyimba Football Club for over 23 years, leading them to two CAF Champions League titles and numerous league crowns. Inyama, on the other hand, was chairman of Abia Warriors for 16 years before giving way to former Flying Eagles coach, Sam John Obu.

Across the country, nine other games will be decided this weekend, as Rivers United’s game against Sporting Lagos has been postponed due to the Port Harcourt side’s engagement in the continent.

In one of the games decided yesterday, Doma United beat Kano Pillars 1-0 to reclaim the number one spot on the table. Emmanuel Ekpenyong got the winning
