Ireland v Wales Women Live: Kick-off time, TV channel and score updates from Six Nations

Wales kick off their Women's Six Nations campaign in Ireland this afternoon.

Ioan Cunningham’s side face a tough assignment in Dublin against a strong Ireland team, with this their first Six Nations campaign since the Welsh Rugby Union’s historic decision to award 12 players professional contracts.

Wales were hammered 45-0 by the Girls in Green last year, and will be hopeful of giving a good account of themselves this afternoon against an Ireland side that have several issues recently, with players recently taking aim at the IRFU following the team's failure to qualify for the World Cup.

Cunningham has selected a strong side for this clash, with Kayleigh Powell returning at full-back to make her first Test appearance since last year's Six Nations. Kelsey Jones also returns to the squad, while Sioned Harries is back for the first time since facing Ireland in November 2019. Sisilia Tuipulotu is set to make her debut if she comes off the bench.

The match kicks off at 4.45pm and is on BBC Two Wales.
