IPL 2024 Auction: Updated Squads And Remaining Purse Of All 10 Franchises After 2 Major Trades

All-rounders Hardik Pandya and Cameron Green were part of two big trades in the Indian Premier League (IPL) ahead of the mini auction for the new season, scheduled to take place on December 19. After spending two seasons at Gujarat Titans as captain, Pandya re-joined his first franchise Mumbai Indians as a part of an all-cash deal. He started his IPL career with MI in 2015 and represented them for seven seasons before making a switch to GT in 2022.

The 30-year-old led the franchise to the IPL title in their first-ever season the same year. He also took them to the final last season, but GT lost to Chennai Super Kings in the final.

On the other hand, Green has left MI to join RCB ahead of next month's auction. The lanky Australian was bough by MI for Rs 17.5 crore ahead of last season.

Meanwhile, GT named Shubman Gill as their captain for IPL 2024 following Pandya's return to MI.
