Lucknow Super Giants pulled off a miraculous six-wicket win over Chennai Super Kings on Thursday as they chased down a massive 211-run target. The newly-formed franchise registered the fourth highest successful run-chase ever in the history of the IPL for their maiden triumph. Lucknow Super Giants had begun their IPL journey with a loss against the other new franchise Gujarat Titans. And as the wait for the first win finally ended for Lucknow, the franchise members were visibly elated. Lucknow's mentor, former India cricketer, Gautam Gambhir was silent and not showing any emotions as such through Lucknow's epic run chase against the defending champions. But when his team tied the scores and it was clear they were going to win, Gambhir was all pumped up and euphoric.
