IPL 2022: Full league stage schedule for Gujarat Titans, matches timings, venues and full squad

Hardik Pandya embarks on a new journey. The 28-year-old is all set to lead the newly-formed franchise Gujarat Titans in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League.

The Gujarat franchise joined the Lucknow Super Giants - the two new teams which were added to T20 cricket's biggest competition recently, as IPL expanded to 10 teams. Local boy Hardik, who has been out of action since the T20 World Cup last year has a tough task ahead of him as takes on the very serious responsibility of captaining a side along with proving his own skills as an all-rounder.

Due to an injury Hardik wasn't able to bowl for quite a while and also lost his place in the Indian team. The Titans have been placed in Group B for the upcoming IPL season, which means they take on Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants (their counterparts from Group A) twice along with playing Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals once each in the league phase of the tournament, as per the new format which will see a total of 74 matches (including the knockouts) being played.
