IPL 2022 mega auction live updates: Mumbai Indians paid Rs 8 Crore for England's Jofra Archer. India U19 cricketers Raj Angad Bawa, Raj Angad Bawa, who played crucial roles India's World Cup-winning campaign in West Indies, have hit the jackpot in IPL 2022 auction. Bawa was picked up for Rs 2 crore by PBKS and Hangargekar got Rs 1.5 crore from Chennai Super Kings. Aiden Markram was the first player to be picked on day 2 of the IPL 2022 auction for Rs 2.6 crore by SRH. Ajinkya Rahane went to KKR while big names like Ishant Sharma, Eoin Morgan, Marnus Labuschagne and Aaron Finch remained unsold.

As many as 97 players went under the hammer on the first day of the IPL auction on Saturday.
