Invicta FC 48 Results: Slick submissions and more

Invicta FC returned this week for Invicta FC 48, featuring six MMA fights on the card from the ReelWorks in Denver, Colorado, but what are all of the results from the night?

The event was headlined by Invicta FC Bantamweight Champion Taneisha Tennant defending against Olga Rubin.

Invicta Fighting Championships is the top All-Women’s MMA promotion on the planet, originally founded in 2012 by Janet Martin and Shannon Knapp.

Here are all of the results from Invicta FC 48, including Taneisha Tennant vs Olga Rubin, Talita Bernardo vs Yana Gadelha and more.

The aforementioned Tennant was looking to defend her Bantamweight title for the very first time. The Champion earned the belt at Invicta FC 44, defeating Lisa Verzosa to claim the then-vacant title.

Tennant’s opponent Rubin, a Bellator veteran with six fights on her record with the company, was debuting with Invicta in this title fight. The former featherweight contender competed in her second bout at bantamweight with Invicta’s prestigious title on the line.

The co-main event of the night also saw Bantamweight fighter Talita Bernardo taking on Yana Gadelha. Both women entered the contest with identical records, so someone would improve their stats on the night over the other.

As mentioned, there were six fights that took place across the card, and there were a number of exciting finishes as well as a close split decision:

The company are expected to be announcing their next event in the coming weeks, with Invicta FC 49 expected to be another solid fight card.

The full event is available to watch back in full via the official Invicta FC YouTube channel:
