International manhunt underway after 10-year-old girl found dead

Three people police want to speak to following the death of a 10-year-old girl are believed to have left the country. The schoolgirl was tragically found dead in the early hours of Thursday morning (August 10), inside a semi-detached house in Woking, Surrey.

Police remained at the scene, on Hammond Road, yesterday while members of the public left flowers and tributes for the young girl. Surrey Police identified three people in connection with the incident.

All three are believed to have left the country on Wednesday, the Mirror reports. Officers in the UK are now working with international authorities to track the trio down.

The property is situated in a quiet suburban area on the outskirts of Woking. Officers have reiterated that they do not believe there to be any risk to the wider public following the incident.
