Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana fires Man City warning ahead of Champions League final

Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana insists all the pressure is on Manchester City's shoulders ahead of Saturday night's Champions League final in Istanbul.

City, who have already arrived in Turkey, will be looking to replicate one of football's greatest-ever achievements by clinching a historic treble. After winning the Premier League title last month, Pep Guardiola's side added the FA Cup to their collection last weekend, beating Manchester United 2-1 in the final at Wembley.

It means the Blues are now on the cusp of replicating United's treble-winning campaign of 1998/99 by winning the Champions League for the very first time. However, Onana, who has recently been linked with a move to the red half of Manchester, has fired a warning at City, saying they will need to produce their best to defeat the Serie A giants.

"They are probably the best team in the world but they have to show this on Saturday," said Onana. "We'll be there to defend and represent Inter, to make history.

"It is not going to be easy but they have to show they are the best. Why would I not be relaxed? I am calm. I have no pressure, we have no pressure at all. We know it is not going to be easy but we will be there. They have more pressure than us, I am calm. It is football. In this life I am only afraid of God and I don't see him on the pitch. Men are men."

Penalties could be required to separate the sides should the game be level after 120 minutes and Onana is relishing that prospect, adding: "Do we know which way they will hit their penalties? I cannot say. But I feel very good about facing penalties.
