Insider claims Crystal Palace now eyeing move for £12.6m-rated star

Journalist Dean Jones has claimed that Crystal Palace will have an eye on Morgan Sanson in the summer.

Morgan Sanson has been seriously out of favour for Aston Villa this season after signing from Marseille in January last year, as he has featured just nine times in the Premier League this term, and has been an unused substitute in six out of Villa’s last nine games in the Premier League.

The French midfielder featured over 150 times for Marseille, before making the move to the Premier League and scored 25 goals whilst contributing with 22 assists in this time, according to Transfermarkt. Since things haven’t worked out for him this season with Villa, Crystal Palace are reportedly showing interest in him.

Crystal Palace are also interested in signing Boubacar Kamara, and whilst speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Dean Jones highlighted the chances that Palace have of signing the duo.

“I think that they’re both players that they’ll have an eye on. They’re both at clubs whereby you would feel you’ve got a good chance of being able to sign them, and you know that they are potentially available for transfer,” Jones said.

As mentioned above, Morgan Sanson, who is valued at £12.6 million (as per Transfermarkt), has struggled to break into the Aston Villa side this season having made just two starts for them in the Premier League and has made seven appearances from the bench. In those nine appearances he’s averaged 31 minutes per game, made one mistake which has led to a goal and has won just 38% of his aerial duels, as per Sofascore.
