Inside Haute Dolci's new Curry Mile restaurant - where burgers and fries join signature luxury desserts on the menu

Luxury dessert chain Haute Dolci will open the doors to its newest restaurant this weekend - but its latest offering is not just for those with a sweet tooth.

The new store on Manchester's famous Curry Mile will serve burgers and loaded fries alongside the indulgent waffles and crepes that customers of the chain know and love. Based in the former IceBurg unit on Wilmslow Road, Haute Dolci bosses have kept the burger restaurant's kitchen, as well as installing their own - meaning the menu will have more variety than the existing restaurants in Bolton and the Trafford Centre.

It officially opens this Sunday (October 16) following a successful soft launch. General manager Joe Haithwaite told the Manchester Evening News : "We've not advertised that we've been open and we've still had queues out of the doors most weekends.

"On Wilmslow Road the competition is obviously very high and even places a few doors down offer similar menus. We've benefitted from IceBurg being the previous business on this site, which was a pretty famous burger place, and because we're a franchise, we've had the opportunity to incorporate two kitchens.

"A lot of people who are coming through don't realise that we do food as well and in the last couple of weeks, we've seen our food sales shoot up.

"A lot of the restaurants are strictly desserts so we can offer a lot more than other sites in the north. Once we get our full menu, we know it's going to take off."

The restaurant looks incredibly sleek and stylish with stunning marble furniture and accents throughout, as well as purple flowers across the ceiling and along the wall. It has also created 40 jobs
